The Man Behind The Curtain: Meet Kelly Crow!

Behind every great business is a visionary; someone who is willing to go above and beyond to make sure his or her company succeeds. For Best PowerWash Dallas, that visionary happens to be the one and only Mr. Kelly Crow! We believe it's important to get to know the people you trust with your business, so this week, we invite you to get to know Kelly a little bit better!

(Kelly is the first one on the left in the front row)
What was your source of inspiration behind Best PowerWash Dallas?
I was originally introduced to the industry by a colleague. As a hands-on homeowner, I had always used a high pressure washer. I noticed it did damage to the wood on the deck, as well as the mortar holding the brick. When there is a better way to do something, it always intrigues me. I researched the current methods and chemical applications and discovered that they produced better (and less damaging) results than the high water pressure methods I'd been using. This all led to the opportunity for me to move to the north Dallas area and be involved with my kids all of the time, instead of just part-time. It's been well worth it!

Where did you attend school? Were you a member of a fraternity?
Mizzou! I was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, or SAE. What a great way to go through the college experience! I'm still a devoted Tigers fan, and - thanks to the wonders of satellite TV - can still catch all of the games.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Clients that say "Wow!" It can really surprise them, especially when you can get rust off of surfaces. Many of them have previously tried acid washes with inconsistent or damaging results.

Who is your family? Do you have any pets?
Kelly and his kiddos
(when they were much younger!)
I've got Jake the 7th grade athlete, who is currently playing middle linebacker (surprise, surprise). Kinsey is my 8th grade artist. She has traded her athletics in to concentrate on her studies and various creative endeavors. Kylie is a senior, and working hard at a part-time job while going to school. She's very dedicated and motivated to work towards her dream of becoming a medical doctor. Mom and Dad are still holding down the fort in Columbia, MO.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Their maneuverability and aerial acrobatics fascinate me to this day.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I suppose it would be to fly. It sure would come in handy during heavy traffic times!

What is something very few people know about you?
I secretly wore a pocket protector in college. I cut the top off so it wouldn't be noticeable, but it did keep ink off of my shirts!
